Did Methuselah die before or during the flood?
I have added the years up and the flood occurred the 969th year that Methuselah was alive.

In Genesis Ch 5:21-31, we see the life spans of Noah's father Lamech and grand-father Methuselah. Using these life spans, and the fact that the name Methuselah means, "When he is dead it shall be sent", shows that accordingly the flood would come after his death.
