Psalm 99

The Lord Our God Is Holy

1 s The Lord reigns; t let the peoples tremble!
He u sits enthroned upon the cherubim; v let the earth quake!
2 The Lord is w great in Zion;
he is x exalted over all the peoples.
3 Let them praise your y great and awesome name!
z Holy is he!
4 a The King in his might b loves justice. 1
You have established equity;
you have executed justice
and righteousness in Jacob.
5 c Exalt the Lord our God;
d worship at his e footstool!
z Holy is he!

6 f Moses and Aaron were among his g priests,
Samuel also was among those who h called upon his name.
They i called to the Lord, and he answered them.
7 In j the pillar of the cloud he spoke to them;
they k kept his testimonies
and the statute that he gave them.

8 O Lord our God, you answered them;
you were l a forgiving God to them,
but m an avenger of their wrongdoings.
9 Exalt the Lord our God,
and worship at his n holy mountain;
for the Lord our God is holy!
