1 Thessalonians 4:3-7

A Life Pleasing to God

³ For this is the will of God, _i your sanctification: _{1 j} that you abstain from sexual immorality; ⁴ that each one of you know how to control his own _k body ₂ in holiness and _l honor, ⁵ not in _m the passion of lust _n like the Gentiles _o who do not know God; ⁶ that no one transgress and _p wrong his brother in this matter, because the Lord is _q an avenger in all these things, as we told you beforehand and solemnly warned you. ⁷ For _r God has not called us for _s impurity, but in holiness.
