Jesus Rejoices in the Father's Will
a In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said, "I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight.
b "All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and c no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him."
Then He turned to His disciples and said privately, d "Blessed are the eyes which see the things you see;
"for I tell you e that many prophets and kings have desired to see what you see, and have not seen it, and to hear what you hear, and have not heard it."

Matthew 11:25 - 27
At that time Jesus answered and said, "I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes.
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand.
And has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man.
As You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him.
No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.
No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.
Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father.
But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear.
For assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.
1 Peter 1:10
Of this salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you.
1 Peter 1:11
Searching what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow.
