2 Thessalonians 1:11-12
To this end we w always pray for you, that our God may x make you worthy of his calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every y work of faith by his power,
so that the name of our Lord Jesus z may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

This is evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are also suffering -

Remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Hear the word of the Lord, you who tremble at his word: "Your brothers who hate you and cast you out for my name's sake have said, 'Let the Lord be glorified, that we may see your joy'; but it is they who shall be put to shame.
And when the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and as many as were appointed to eternal life believed.
