Will God stop using us on earth if we sin?

That is, if we sin and repent, are we no longer of use for ministry or evangelism? Does God stop using us if our testimony for Him is damaged?

I told a lie, this is not my nature, I have apologized, asked for forgiveness. Does this disqualify me to be used by God?

When I first saw this question, I was really angry! I was mad at the enemy that has tormented the soul and mind of God’s people for way too long. It is justifiable anger. However, my own intensity overcame my own sense of responsibility to the readers of my answers. Had it not been for the Moderators of this site, you, the readers, would have read my intense, inflamed, answer that would have neither served to exhort nor uphold the Precious Name of Jesus. It only served to satisfy my need to vent!

You may ask why I am confessing this openly? To prove the point. Does this one submission that was rejected and now is corrected with humility, negate EVERYTHING that I have submitted and posted on this site? NO! Absolutely not. It will serve to remind me to always, ALWAYS double check with my boss, the LORD Jesus Christ, before I submit anything!

Jesus was the Greatest Teacher about forgiveness. He asked Peter three times to “Do you love me?” This was AFTER Peter had betrayed Him. Jesus was still giving Peter the opportunity to love Him, then to SERVE Him. Twice, Jesus told Peter, “Feed My sheep.” John 21:15-17.

Is God a man that He should lie? Num 23:19

If God Almighty stopped using humans because of shortcomings or human failures, He had to stop at Adam. It is because of our failures that His Mercy, Love, Grace is made known!

There will ALWAYS be someone in this world who will not "forget" what we have done. They will always drag it up, out, and around, like an old, smelly rag like a dog plays with. This is okay too. Every time they bring it up, it gives us the opportunity to thank God for His Mercy and Grace that Covers us, Saves us, Delivers us, and Sanctifies us. This provides us with a new opportunity to thank God for His Gift, Jesus Christ. A new opportunity to thank Jesus for His Blood shed on Calvary. Look at what wonderful Victory we have being Grateful!

Not use us? Why on earth would God not use wonderful Grateful people full of Praise to His Mighty Power and His Marvelous Mercy and Unspeakable Grace?

Finally I offer this:
Mic 7:18 Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? He retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.

Mic 7:19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. Forgotten Forever!
Mic 7:20 Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.

God is NOT a man that He should Lie to us.

Believe this and Forgive --- Ourselves!

Be Blessed,
Lena
