The hand is frequently mentioned, particularly the right hand, as a symbol of power and strength (Ps. 60:5 -- "That your beloved ones may be delivered,
give salvation by your right hand and answer us!"

Isa. 28:2). [EBD] -- " Behold, the Lord has one who is mighty and strong;
like a storm of hail, a destroying tempest,
like a storm of mighty, overflowing waters,
he casts down to the earth with his hand."

"Aristera" and "Dexia" mean "Left" and "Right" respectively in Greek.

"αριστερά και δεξιά
=
aristerá kai dexiá left and right"
(wordhippo.com)

The very word euonumos proves the same from the Greek point of view. This word is a euphemistic synonym of aristera, and is used to avoid the unlucky omen the common word may have for the person spoken to.

Thus the goats, i.e. the godless, are placed at the left hand of the great Judge, while the righteous appear at His right (Mt 25:33): "And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left."...now to verse 34, 34: "Then shall the King [Jesus] say unto them on his right hand, 'Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.'" And now verse 41: "Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, 'Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.'"

So definitely, you would NOT want to be on Christ's left hand come Judgment Day! Take Jesus as your Savior today before it's too late! Just pray, "Jesus, I need you. I know I have sinned because all have sinned. I know I deserve to die because the payment for sin is death. Thank you for dying in my place. I receive you now as my PERSONAL SAVIOR. Amen." You can use your own words to ask Him. Just settle it today, PLEASE! I did, and I am SO GLAD I DID!

The right side of the host was the place where the most important guest sat at a meal. Thus, the right hand side became the place of greatest honour.

The "right" side to ancient people groups was also the side of "trustworthiness" because it was unprotected by a warrior's shield and fully open.

To be at the right hand means to be equal to the person you stood or seated by.

Beautiful answers. His right hand is also his Church. His right hand and his Holy arm has gotten him the victory. Whenever we go out there and minister to the lost and they receive salvation and deliverance, satan falls as lightening, we operate as the arm of The Lord. His right hand is the five fold ministry, in Ephesians 4 : 11' as we all flow in those spiritual graces in any local assembly, that is the right hand of The Lord. That is why the 5- fold ministry are not titles, - they are ministering graces to edify The Lord's Church. May The Lord increase these graces in our congregations in in these Endtimes, so that the kingdom of darkness can be brought down. Amen.
