What does the bible say about a wife who has been abandons her husband, for no biblical reason, and is now living in sin?

This wife is now lying, cheating the system, has shaved all her hair off and brought shame upon the family's name. What should a person do about that?

About all you can do is pray for her. The Bible tells us: "For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons." (Hebrews 12:6-8). If she is truly one of "His", the Holy Spirit will deal with her in His way, according to His time frame.

If by chance you are the woman's husband and a believer, I would seek Christian counseling. More importantly, I would get on my knees before God, pour out my heart and ask him to reveal known sin in my life. Although a hard pill to swallow, you may come to realize that you in some way contributed to her rebellion. Although we cannot directly change another individual, if we change others around us have a tendency to change. (been there, done that)

Rest assured, she is the same person you married. What was she like before marriage? Did she have the same tendencies, prone toward rebellion?

We know that our Lord God is one of structure and order. In our solar system the sun is at its center. So long as the planets stay within the gravitational pull of the sun along their intended path, everything functions smoothly. Should the sun and its power cease to exist in our universe, the planet's would collide and be destroyed.

According to God's plan, purpose and program, the family unit is structured very similarly. As long as the "Son" is the center of our universe, dad, mom and children (in that order) are kept in alignment by the "Son's" power. When we disregard the "Son" we begin to collide with each other and our family is eventually destroyed.

Dear friend, this may not apply to you but I'm speaking from a bit of experience and can honestly say, "there go I but for the grace of God". I'll pray for you and your situation.
