The beast of Revelation is the revived Islamic caliphate.

The beast of Revelation is the same beast with iron teeth in Dan. 7. It is also the two iron legs in Dan. 2. The beast is the revived Islamic caliphate mainly for two reasons:

1. Dan. 2 says the iron legs or the kingdom as strong as iron devoured Babylon and Persia.

This was fulfilled when the Rashidun caliphate conquered Persia, which was the sassanid empire at the time. The Persians outnumbered the Muslim army, but the Muslim army was smarter. The Muslims changed positions to confuse them as they attacked. Muslim soldiers also tricked them by having soldiers march and horsemen ride around to build dust to make the Persians think the caliphate was so vast. The Muslims crushed them from all sides. The Persians retreated and regrouped. The Persians mustered their best forces, war elephants, etc. The Persians crossed a river, but drowned as the Muslims advanced. The caliphate crushed and conquered them, including Babylon.

2. You have to remember the Bible is centered on Israel. The mistake most people make is take the Bible out of historical context and try to insert Europe into the text. Since the Bible was written in the Middle East, it mostly focuses on Middle Eastern nations, although the world will be affected according to some passages.
