Matthew 10:17-20

Persecution Will Come

¹⁷ Beware of men, for _r they will deliver you over to courts and flog you _s in their synagogues, ¹⁸ _r and you will be dragged before governors and kings for my sake, _t to bear witness before them and the Gentiles. ¹⁹ _r When _u they deliver you over, _v do not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say, for _w what you are to say will be given to you in that hour. ²⁰ _x For it is not you who speak, but _y the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.
