2 Thessalonians 2:1-4

The Man of Lawlessness

¹ Now concerning _a the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our _b being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers, ₁ ² not to be quickly shaken in mind or _c alarmed, either _d by a spirit or a _e spoken word, or _e a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that _f the day of the Lord has come. ³ _g Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, _h unless the rebellion comes first, and _i the man of lawlessness ₂ is revealed, _j the son of destruction, ₃ ⁴ who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, _k proclaiming himself to be God.
