1In my former book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach 1. The Apostles gathered one last time with Jesus and he told them to wait in Jerusalem before going out to be His witnesses to the world. (I wonder how many times God has told me to wait and I didn't - hmmmm).
2. Implies that the "works" going on here are the continued works of Jesus.
