Leviticus 18:21

This admonition not to sacrifice your children to a pagan god might seem out of place, given that the verses around it are all about not committing adultery. But there is actually a very good reason. God is actually comparing the horror of burning your own child alive to committing adultery, showing us that it is just as detestable in His sight.
