Be United, Joyful, and in Prayer
2I implore Euodia and I implore Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord. 3And I urge you also, true companion, help these women who labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life.4Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!5Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.
6Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Like any other human, I've been overcome by fear and worry. Those are two unproductive emotions. But these verses have the one antidote for worry. Prayer. God wants to be the first we turn to in times of worry or crisis. When we do, He promises His peace. GOD's peace. Just think about human peace of mind. Feels nice, right? Well..It's our Father's peace we're talking of. That just blows my mind..

This is one of my favorite verses to memorize because it is useful to remember when worry comes.
