Salt and Light

13“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.

14“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.

15Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.16In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

if we have the light of god in us we should expose the darkness around us, and nobody can turn our light out

People have said that I GLOW after I was saved. I say it is the love of God shining in my countinence and even my behavior. God grows me brighter each day. I show it to all I meet and tel them that this is what Christ does for me every day and they can have that joyous and radiant life too.

If the Light of Christ does not shine in us for all to see, then we must do a self-examination to find out where we need to repent and ask God for forgiveness. Our light should shine brightly for miles so we can be seen by those in darkness and help them to come to the Light of Christ.
